Time

Time
where did it go today?
I made a list
and got busy
quite a twist
how time
got away
so I threw in lemon
and a bit of honey
and moved on
to another day
I did what I could
I let go of the rest
I could not carry it
anyway
And who is there?
who knows me well enough?
to say what I did
was not enough?
these short days
of intense happenstance
radiate
they seed the days ahead
time needs the rain
of ideas
our directions in life
don't come fully explored
notions give sway
and excitement begins
time itself is exploration
involving all our senses
with movement & sound
listen with your heart
go forward with your mind
always allow fresh rain
to strengthen & season
your resolve
time
where did it go today?
time
it slowly went away!
